II. SMART BUSINESS FESTIVAL WILL BE HELD IN BRATISLAVA, THE DIGITAL FUTURE OF SLOVAK BUSINESS IS THE MAIN THEM

Bratislava 2 September 2019: The end of September will again include discussions about smart and digital entrepreneurship that will take place in the framework of the II. Smart Business Festival SK.

CEEInno, the Central European Digital Innovation Platform, aims to bring to the Slovak business community and research institutions the news that have been implemented in Slovakia and other Central European countries. These are: Security and trust in the digital environment, services and activities of digital hubs, which are gradually emerging not only in Slovakia but also in the surrounding areas.

The event, which takes place on September 24, 2019 in the Hotel Bôrik in Bratislava, includes in addition to the lecture section an exhibition section and an organized series of B2B meetings.

“The CEEInno platform has significantly shifted over the past year: we have acquired a number of new members from Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary, Poland and Germany, and have also helped better connect Czech digital innovation hubs and collaborate and communicate their services towards small and medium-sized companies to whom they should help, ”said Tereza Šamanová, the coordinator and founder of the CEEInno Platform. “Our goal is to share these innovations with Slovak colleagues and at the same time to be inspired by current activities from the Slovak environment,” adds Šamanová.

The Smart Business Festival SK 2019 program focuses on three main areas: Investing in the digital future, in which we recapitulate support from the state and the European Commission after 2020, focusing on the development of digitization and smart business. We will present examples of successful cascading financing, examples of good business practice and experience of foreign and domestic investors, as well as inspiration to support companies in moving to a higher degree of digitization.

In the Security block we will clarify the view of cyber security of digital solutions, reliability of digital devices, danger of virtual world or energy security and sustainability of digital development. The Trust 4.0 will then introduce blockchain as a technology to enhance trust in international business transactions, legal certainty in the digital world, the social aspects of the digital age, and changes in the way digital communications interact.

In the exposition part of the Festival participants will see examples of presented solutions, get advice or be able to test the digital maturity of their company. We will present the first Czech industrial blockchain or chatbot interview.

Last but not least, participants have the possibility to register for an organized series of B2B meetings that will enable them to meet other participants efficiently and in a short time within the framework of fast business speed dating.

Entry to the Festival is free of charge upon prior online registration, but due to limited space, we recommend early registration.

CEEInno Central European Digital Innovation Platform is a grouping of actors active in Central European countries in the development, application and support of digital innovations and the operation of the Center for Digital Innovation – Digital Innovation Hubs.
